Fossil Fuel Subsidies Outpace Renewables
The research and consulting firm Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) reports that subsidies for fossil energies are far outweighing those for renewables. While many governments are putting support behind clean energy, the figures show that renewables are still far behind, reports BNEF.

"Just a quick note to let you know how shocked I was to find that your Power Save 1200, is everything you said it was and more. I had the unit installed on a disconnect switch so I could check the actual power usage with and without the Power Save 1200 in service. I am cooling 2800 sq. ft. with seven tons of A/C Heat Pump equipment. We observed an immediate drop of 6 amps. under an approximant 50% load. This represents a 16% savings. Extrapolation tells me if I use this equipment 60% of the time, I will save $42.00 each month. Which gives me a payout in 7.5 months and then pure savings. Please keep in mind that this is the savings attributed to the Heat and Cooling under Aprox 50% loaded equipment only. As the summer wears on and the load to increase, I expect the savings to grow.
